Step 1 - design your base character
Base character sheet
character sheet of [NAME], a 24-year-old woman, oval face, warm hazel eyes, light-brown hair in soft waves past the shoulders, light freckles across the nose, natural glowy makeup, slim athletic build, friendly approachable vibe, plain studio background, front view, soft even lighting, photorealistic, sharp focus
One detailed description is your character's DNA. Write it once, save it, and reuse the exact same wording every time so the model keeps rebuilding the same person.
Face-lock master portrait
head-and-shoulders portrait of [NAME], [PASTE YOUR LOCKED DESCRIPTION], looking straight at camera, soft window light, 85mm lens, shallow depth of field, natural skin texture, minimal retouching, photorealistic
A clean front-facing portrait becomes your master reference image. Every later shot will point back to this one face.
Full-body reference
full-body photo of [NAME], [PASTE YOUR LOCKED DESCRIPTION], standing relaxed, plain white tee and blue jeans, plain grey backdrop, even studio lighting, natural proportions, photorealistic, ultra detailed
A neutral full-body shot locks height, build and proportions so later poses and outfits sit on the same body, not a new one.
Step 2 - lock the same face every time
The identity anchor (reuse word for word)
[NAME], 24-year-old woman, oval face, warm hazel eyes, light-brown wavy hair, light freckles, natural makeup, slim athletic build, keep this exact face and features, [NEW SCENE OR POSE], photorealistic, consistent character
The real trick to consistency is boring: paste the identical description every time and only change the scene words. Same words in, same face out.
Midjourney character reference
[NEW SCENE], photorealistic, natural lighting --cref [URL OF YOUR MASTER PORTRAIT] --cw 100 --ar 4:5 --style raw
In Midjourney, --cref points at your reference image and --cw 100 copies the full face. Drop --cw to 30 to 60 when you want the outfit and setting to change more freely.
Reference image plus fixed seed (FLUX or Stable Diffusion)
[PASTE YOUR LOCKED DESCRIPTION], [NEW POSE], soft natural light, photorealistic, sharp focus, consistent facial features
In FLUX or Stable Diffusion, load your master portrait into IP-Adapter or InstantID, keep the SAME seed number, and paste this locked description. Reference image plus fixed seed plus identical words is the three-part recipe for one face.
Turnaround for extra angles
same woman as the reference image, [PASTE YOUR LOCKED DESCRIPTION], three views on one sheet: front, three-quarter, and side profile, neutral expression, plain background, even lighting, photorealistic
A turnaround sheet gives you side and angled references, so shots that are not straight-on still match the same person.
Poses, expressions and outfits
New pose, same face
[PASTE YOUR LOCKED DESCRIPTION], keep the exact same face, [POSE: sitting on a stool / walking / leaning on a wall / hands in pockets], casual outfit, studio lighting, full body, photorealistic
Change only the pose words while keeping the locked description, and you can build a whole photo set of one person in an afternoon.
Outfit swap
[PASTE YOUR LOCKED DESCRIPTION], same face, now wearing [OUTFIT: summer dress / gym set / oversized blazer / cozy knit sweater], [SETTING], natural lighting, fashion photography, photorealistic
Keep the face locked and treat clothing as a variable. In Midjourney lower --cw to about 40 so the outfit changes without dragging the old clothes along.
Expression and mood
[PASTE YOUR LOCKED DESCRIPTION], same face, [EXPRESSION: warm laughing smile / soft candid glance / calm confident look], close-up, soft light, natural skin texture, photorealistic
A believable person shows a range of feelings. Vary only the expression word so followers read her as real, not a frozen doll.
Lifestyle and UGC shots
Casual phone selfie (UGC look)
casual front-facing phone selfie of [NAME], [PASTE YOUR LOCKED DESCRIPTION], arm slightly extended, [SETTING: bright kitchen / city street / bedroom mirror], natural daylight, slightly imperfect framing, realistic phone-camera look, photorealistic
UGC and selfie framing feels authentic, and that raw look is what brands pay for. The slight imperfection is what sells it as a real phone photo, not a studio render.
Candid lifestyle scene
candid lifestyle photo of [NAME], [PASTE YOUR LOCKED DESCRIPTION], [ACTIVITY: sipping coffee at a cafe / reading in a park / cooking at home], natural window light, shallow depth of field, warm color grade, editorial feel, photorealistic
Lifestyle shots put your character inside a little story. Keep the face locked and let the setting and activity carry the post.
New location or travel
[NAME], [PASTE YOUR LOCKED DESCRIPTION], same face, [LOCATION: beach at golden hour / snowy mountain town / rooftop at sunset], wearing [OUTFIT], light matching the scene, travel-influencer style, photorealistic
Travel content keeps a feed fresh. Match the lighting words to the location so the same face still looks like it belongs there.
Product and brand-deal shots
Product-in-hand
[NAME], [PASTE YOUR LOCKED DESCRIPTION], same face, holding a [PRODUCT: skincare bottle / coffee cup / phone] toward the camera, soft studio light, clean background, natural hand pose, product in sharp focus, advertising quality, photorealistic
Brand deals need clean product-in-hand shots. Keep the label area uncluttered so a brand can drop their real packaging in later.
Product in use
[NAME], [PASTE YOUR LOCKED DESCRIPTION], same face, applying [PRODUCT: lip balm / moisturizer] at a bright bathroom mirror, soft natural light, authentic candid feel, product visible, UGC advertising style, photorealistic
Showing the product actually being used is more convincing than just holding it. This is the frame brands love to reuse in their own ads.
